I have five cats called Salem, Poppy, Baby , Smokey and Smudgie. Salem is male and black, Poppy is the only female and a tabby, Baby is a creamy ginger colour, Smokey is a blue-grey colour but is slightly brain damaged and so does not walk very well, and Smudgie is the half-brother of Baby and is ginger and white in colour. He's also the youngest cat and the one with the tallest bandy legs. Below are pictures of me so that you can see what I look like. Of course, I normally wear glasses but one day I'd rather like to get rid of them with laser eye surgery. I guess we'll have to see about that one. ^^; I was the proprietor of a small, independent retail shop in Driffield, United Kingdom, called DarklingFlair. We sold clothing and accessories to emos, goths, punks and anybody else who liked alternative clothing. We also had Witches of Pendle Merchandise. It took a long time to get it ready to open, but it was opened on the 30th August 2008. Unfortunately it closed on the 20th February 2009 due to the dreadful credit crunch. At the moment I am studying at Hull University on the BA Primary Teaching course. ![]() I have written two books in total. Neither of
these have been published so if you're a literary agent (preferably in
the UK) and would like to publish my work then you can get in touch
with me at saveastarvingauthor@live.co.uk
(this is my email address for SaSA [Save a Starving Author]). These books are in a series about Jocasta
Lizzbeth Moonshadow and I am happily writing the third whilst
anticipating the next two. The first is called Dark Side of the Moon. |
The second is Jocasta Lizzbeth Moonshadow: Shadows and Ghosts. The third is, as of yet, unpublished and titled The Secrets Were Spilling At The Seams.
I have added extracts of the prologue and first three chapters of each
within these web pages. Before anyone asks, no I do not want to publish
it as a web book. I know I might reach a lot of people that way, but
honestly? It wouldn't fulfill my dream. My dream is simply to one day
be able to walk into Waterstones and see my own book, published by a
reputable publisher, with my name on the cover, sitting on a display in
full view of an eager public. That is my dream and that is what will
truly make me happy. I know most people are concerned with fame, but
I'm not. I just want to see my writing recognised for what it is and
published so that people around the world can enjoy it as much as I
can. Publicity and the press do not interest me. I could handle them,
but it is not what I care about. Also here is a link to my 2008-2009 blog/online journal and my 2009 one. I also have a myspace page for here and a facebook group for SaSA, now, for people who are interested in adding me and helping to promote my stuff. Which can be found at my Official Myspace and the SaSA Facebook Group and the SaSA Facebook Page. So anyway if you want to get in touch then please
do so. If you want to talk to me about publishing my stories then try
the supplied email address. You can also leave messages in the comment
box on SaSA or on my myspace or Facebook pages etc. I also have a forum for anybody who wants to write there. Thanks!
